Oh my God, I’m trending. Kendra holds her phone out to me. The hashtag she started, #NotThatFat, is being used by other women at the conference.

What started out as critiquing the moderators, the accessible signs, and the not-so-accessible spaces, has now become a hashtag people are using to share personal stories.

I guess when this conference decided to have fat panelists, they meant fat but #NotThatFat.

These seats are made for bodies that are #NotThatFat.

So basically, this conference is a fat-accepting space but only for people who are #NotThatFat.
